Former Cleveland Browns player Lee Bodden believes that now is the “ideal time” to leave the head coach Kevin Stefanski …and who should replace him?? Deion Sanders.
We caught up with the ex-defender ahead Sheader SandersThe Orange and Brown made their first start this weekend against the Las Vegas Raiders … and he'd love to see the father-son duo reunite in Northeast Ohio.
Bodden, who played eight seasons in the league, praised Coach Prime at the college level … and believes his star power will attract a variety of talented players and coaches to Cleveland.
He went so far as to say that Deion and Sheader together could have as great potential as Tom Brady And Bill Belichick were… but the world will never know until Prime gets the opportunity.
As for Stefanski, Bodden couldn't get over the fact that Sanders didn't get any first-team reps until his debut week as a starter… and also pointed the finger at his other decisions during the match. Deshaun WatsonTime under the center too.
Bodden believes Prime could easily command a locker room full of pros—after all, he's a Hall of Famer, so the respect is already there.
2025 in Boulder hasn't been the best year for Sanders – Colorado is now 3-7 in his first season without Sheader and Travis Hunter …but Bodden doesn't see that as a problem.
In fact, he offers help too!!
“I will help change this program,” Bodden said. “Change this organization and like I said, have a Lombardi Trophy celebration [Lake] Eri. A father and son duo, they did it in college. Let's look at the positives.”
Sheder begins his first career in Dillon Gabriel out due to injury… and Bodden clearly sees this as the start of a new era.
