It is reported that a man with a 30-year criminal record is in at least 72 arrestsand about 15 convictions set a 26-year-old woman on fire on a Chicago train Monday night. She is fighting for her life in critical condition.
Mayor Brandon Johnson on Thursday called it “isolated incident“
“Isolated Incident” highlights everything that is wrong with progressive politics and Democratic leadership in many of our cities: let criminals run free, forget about the victims and vilify the police.
But things only got worse in the Windy City on Friday night as the rampant violence and death the city has become known for continued with multiple shootings and rioting in the iconic Loop neighborhood. Several teenagers were amazed:
At least eight teenagers were shot, one fatally, and several police officers were attacked Friday after rioting broke out in the Chicago Loop, the city's central business district.
Chicago just lit up its Christmas tree… and the city lit up with gunfire.
Seven teenagers were shot. Bodies on the sidewalk. Sirens drown out Christmas songs. And this should be “joy to the world.”

This is what happens when a city throws its streets into chaos… when management treats the criminal mafia as “kids just having fun”… when the police are told to stop and let the violence breathe.
Will Johnson also consider this? isolated incident?
A riot following the Christmas tree lighting ceremony broke out near State and Randolph streets around 10:00 pm Friday, FOX 32 Chicago. reported…
City Alderman Brian Hopkins 2nd Ward Chicago reported that 300 minors rioted and attacked officers with mace and a stun gun.
At least one officer was hospitalized with injuries, he said.
At least six children were shot, including a 13-year-old, two 14-year-olds, a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old.
Less than an hour later, the 14-year-old boy was shot and later died in the hospital. An 18-year-old man was also wounded.

7th Circuit rebuffs Chicago Immigration District Court
The seemingly endless carnage continues in our nation's third most populous city, despite angry accusations from Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Mayor Johnson, who continue to insist they have everything under control while they portray President Donald Trump as some kind of wild-eyed fascist for wanting to use federal resources to stop the bloodshed.
Trump was well aware of this fact, criticizing them on social media on Saturday for contributing to further destruction and death:
“Massive crime and unrest in the Chicago Loop. Several police officers attacked and seriously injured. 300 people riot, 6 victims shot, one critical and one DIED… People chanting: BRING TRUMP!!!” – President Donald J. Trump pic.twitter.com/wDGFvIQKP3

Pritzker and Johnson don't care about ordinary people living in fear or the grief-stricken families of those killed. Eight more teenagers were shot and at least one was killed, but they will continue to fight tooth and nail for the status quo and strengthen their failed policies.
One can't help but wonder if there is anything will this wake up the voters in these blue cities and states, or will they just continue to pull the lever of their own demise? Donald Trump proved with his crackdown on crime in Washington that there are solutions to these problems, but far-left politicians and activist judges continue to say: “No, we like it the way it is.”
Chicago needs federal oversight, not excuses.
At this point, the corruption is so deep that it is clear that our communities will not stabilize without significant federal intervention, independent investigations, and accountability at the highest levels.Failures… pic.twitter.com/sb4jHbdqOj

Failures of leadership under Brandon Johnson, Governor Pritzker, Toni Preckwinkle, Stacy Davis-Gates, and Jackson Porter have contributed to public safety breakdowns, fiscal mismanagement, and policies that actively harm Chicago communities.
Unfortunately, “that's the way it is” makes Chicago look like a third world cesspool – and now they can add at least one more young life to the death toll.
