David Reinbacher scores in front of several NHL scouts

Tonight the Rocket took on their division rivals, the Belleville Senators, on the road.

Without the help of Jared Davidson, Joshua Roy and Florian Czekay, who was recalled by the Canadiens today, Laval had to start the game.

Many NHL scouts were present at the game.

However, despite missing three key forwards, the Rocket managed to earn their eleventh win of the season in overtime thanks to Adam Engström's overtime goal.

David Reinbacher had a great game and scored his first goal of the season. The defenseman also added an assist and finished the game with a plus-1 rating.

Unfortunately, that good night was partially overshadowed by a blocked shot late in the third period that Reinbacher took to the arm that appeared to injure the defender on the Sens' third goal.

However, the defenseman returned to the game in overtime and hopefully avoided the worst.

Reinbacher, who has had some struggles in his return to action, appears to have found success in recent games. In the last three games he has three points and a plus-2 difference.

The Austrian has found his rhythm again and we can only hope he continues in the same vein.

Laurent Dauphin also had a good night, with two assists at the time of writing, which leaves him alone at the top of the AHL scoring charts with 19 points in 17 games.

Although he didn't have a busy night with 22 shots taken, Kaapo Kahkonen had a good game in front of goal.

The Finnish goaltender continues to do great work with the Rocket, and one wonders if he can help, at least in the short term, with the goaltending situation in Montreal.

Kahkonen has 140 NHL starts.

After a while

– Really.

– Lions win.

– Sabers forward explodes.

– The Raptors are on fire.
