Canadian actor Spencer Lofranco, known for his roles in the film by Angelina Jolie. Unbroken and Kevin Connolly Gottidied. He was 33 years old. The cause of his death has not been determined and is currently under investigation in British Columbia.
The news was confirmed yesterday (November 20) by Lofranco's brother Santino in an Instagram post. Santino wrote: “To the legend @roccowinning. My brother. You have lived a life that only some could dream of. You changed people's lives and now you are with God. I will always love and miss you, Bear. Rest in peace.”
Lofranco was born on October 18, 1992 in Toronto. He studied acting at the New York Film Academy and made his big screen debut in the 2013 indie comedy. In Middleton along with Andy Garcia and Vera Farmiga. His first leading role was James Burns in a crime drama. Jamesie Boy in 2014.
Some of his most notable roles include Harry Brooks in Jolie's 2014 war drama. Unbrokenwhich tells the story of Olympian Louis Zemperini (Jack O'Connell), who survived a plane crash and spent weeks at sea and was imprisoned during World War II. Lofranco played one of Zamperini's crew members on the plane.
His last screen appearance was in the Connolly biopic. Gotti with John Travolta. Lofranco portrayed John “Junior” Gotti, the son of Travolta mobster John Gotti, who took over the crime family while his father was in prison.
Lofranco ran into trouble with the law in 2013 after being involved in an accident that left a cyclist with a broken hip, where he served 50 days of community service and two years of probation. He left acting in 2018 and began life as an artist, moving to Surrey, British Columbia in 2021.
