REANIMAL Is Coming Out on PC and Consoles in February 2026

Immerse yourself in darkness in REANIMAL

THQ Nordic And Tarsier Studios have confirmed the worldwide release date of REANIMAL, the next horror title from the team behind Little Nightmares I and II. The game will release on Friday, February 13, 2026, marking its launch on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S simultaneously.

Starting today, players on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S can place pre-orders. Those who receive their copy early will receive Foxhead and Muttonhead masks, two cosmetic items that play a symbolic role in the twisted world of REANIMAL. Masks serve as a layer of comfort in an environment created by fear, tension and entities that thrive in the shadows.

Simultaneously with the start of pre-orders, THQ Nordic and Tarsier Studios released demo versions of consoles for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. These early builds provide a first look at the unsettling atmosphere that defines REANIMAL. PC players also have access to this early piece of gameplay, allowing them to immerse themselves in the oppressive environment and explore the visual style, environmental storytelling, and tone that define the gameplay.

A version for Nintendo Switch 2 is also being developed. Platform-specific pre-orders and a special demo are coming soon, and the developers will share more details soon. This will ensure that players on all major platforms will have the opportunity to try out the game before launch.

REANIMAL is committed to expanding Tarsier Studios' reputation for creating immersive, imaginative worlds. Now that the release date has been set and the first demos are already in the hands of players, the journey towards February is building a steady anticipation as more details emerge about the horrors that await in its dark corridors.
