For many, Thanksgiving is a day to eat, spend time with family and, of course, watch football. NFL Three games are scheduled for Turkey Day, and all three matches will feature popular musical performances during breaks.
Detroit Lions And Dallas Cowboys always play on Thanksgiving Day, and this year was no exception. To kick off play on Thursday, November 27th, the Lions will host a tournament. Green Bay Packers in the big division game at Ford Field at 1:00 pm ET.
Defending AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefswho are currently fighting to get back into the playoff race will travel to AT&T Stadium to face the Cowboys. The game will air on CBS and Paramount+ at 4:30 p.m.
To cap off the evening we have a second division match at M&T Bank Stadium between Baltimore Ravens And Cincinnati Bengals at 8:20 p.m., the Ravens struggled with the quarterback. Lamar Jackson dropped out of the game but have climbed back up the standings in recent weeks.
Here's a look at who will be performing in each game.
Jack White in Detroit
Detroit native Jack White will perform at halftime at Ford Field when the Packers visit the Lions. White is a singer, songwriter and producer who has been a member of several bands, including The White Stripes. He plays several instruments and has hits such as “Seven Nation Army”, “We're Going to Be Friends”, “Blue Orchid” and “That's How I Feel”.
His album No Name was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Album in 2025. He won several Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Performance for “Lazaretto.”
Another Detroit native and Lions superfan, rapper Eminem, will co-executive produce the show. The album will also be co-written by Eminem's longtime manager and Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg and Jesse Collins Entertainment. Eminem and Rosenberg will advise the team on their work during the hiatus until 2027.
Before kickoff, gospel musician CeCe Winans will perform the national anthem.
Post Malone in Dallas
Lifelong Cowboys fan Post Malone will take the stage at Jerry World. Malone has performed at NFL events and games before, including last Christmas when he joined Beyonce at her halftime show in Houston.
“I'm from Texas. I grew up a Cowboys fan and have been watching the halftime show for years,” Post Malone said. “I am honored to be a part of the Red Kettle Kickoff along with the Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys and help bring hope to so many people.”
Post Malone has 18 Grammy nominations, 11 Billboard Music Awards, five American Music Awards and six MTV Video Music Awards. The “Sunflower” singer has explored many genres throughout his career, from rap to country to rock.
Post Malone joins some elite troupe as the Cowboys' Thanksgiving performers, starting with Reba McEntire, who took the stage in 1997. Randy Travis, Destiny's Child, Sheryl Crow, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Enrique Inglesias, Selena Gomez and the Jonas Brothers are some of the other performers in the exclusive group.
Lil Jon in Baltimore
Rapper, producer and DJ Lil Jon will be entertaining the crowd during halftime of the night's game. Some of Lil Jon's hits include “Yeah!”, “Turn Down for What”, “Get Low” and “Snap Yo Fingers”. We'll likely hear a lot of “WHAT,” “YES,” and “OKAY” during the performance, all of which are signatures from the rapper.
Lil Jon has received multiple Grammy nominations and won the award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “Yeah!” with Usher and Ludacris. He also has equipment from the MTV Video Music Awards and the American Music Awards.
Before kickoff, Renee Elise Goldsberry, who won a Tony Award for her role as Angelica Schuyler in the Broadway musical “Hamilton,” will sing the national anthem.
