“I live in hotels, I live in Airbnb; I go where the work is. I literally have no home, that's what I'm trying to explain.Spacey told The Telegraph in a recent interview.

Spacey who used to star in Netflix House of cards and films, including American beauty And The Usual Suspects described his financial situation as “not very good” due to lack of work.

In 2017, actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey flirted with him at a party in the 1980s when Rapp was underage. Several more accusations followed, but none of them were proven in court.

Netflix quickly dropped Spacey from House of cards however, following allegations that were made in the midst of the #MeToo era. He was later ordered to pay more than $30 million to the production company behind the show for losses they suffered due to his firing.

Spacey has previously spoken out about his financial situation. In an interview with Piers Morgan in 2024, Spacey revealed for the first time that his Baltimore home was foreclosed on due to his financial problems. The actor added through tears that he had millions of dollars in debt.
