Sandfall Interactive received 7 golden joysticks
43rd annual Golden joystick took place on Thursday, and on potential preview this year Game rewards winners, Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33 walked away with the most wins. These include Golden Joystick for Best Game of the Year, Best Narrative and Best Visual Design.
Sandfall Interactive's breakthrough role-playing game also took home awards, with Jennifer English winning Best Leading Actress for her role as Maelle and Ben Starr winning Best Supporting Actor for her portrayal of Verso. Sandfall Interactive was named Studio of the Year. General, Chiaroscuro and the people who did this received seven awards.
Ghost of Yotei received awards for best audio design and console game of the year, and Hollow Knight: Silk Song was awarded “Best Indie Game (Self-Published)” and “PC Game of the Year”. Most Golden Joysticks awards are voted on by the public, with only four categories (Critics' Choice, Breakthrough Award, Hall of Fame, and Streamer's Choice) being decided by critics.
