Allegedly lost custody of children after giving twins drugs without a prescription

Megan King temporarily lost custody of three children to her ex-husband Jim Edmonds after she allegedly gave one of her twin sons over-the-counter medications and asked the school nurse to administer them… TMZ has confirmed.
We're told the Real Housewives of Orange County star allegedly gave Hayesone of the 6-year-old twins took Ritalin several times, even though the child was not diagnosed with ADHD.
The situation escalated when King allegedly asked the school nurse to also give Hayes medication, sources said. The request reportedly prompted an investigation by Child Protective Services.
Twice a week King was allowed to visit Hayes, his twin brother. Hartand their older sister, Aspen.
As we previously reported… a temporary restraining order was put in place after a school employee allegedly contacted CPS with concerns. The judge is expected to consider a more permanent solution at a custody hearing scheduled for early December.
King and Edmonds, who tied the knot in 2014 but split in 2019 due to cheating scandalhave been operating under a joint storage agreement since May 2021.
We've reached out to Meghan's reps…no response yet. Jim's rep had no comment.
