Holt McCallany Joins Thriller Movie ‘Paradise: Disturbed’

EXCLUSIVE: Mindhunter And Iron claw star Dead McCallany signed on to lead an upcoming feature Paradise: Disturbedjoined by Lily Donoghue (Summer when I became beautiful) and Zach Steiner (Euphoria). James Khanlarian is set to direct the film for Khanlarian Entertainment. Khanlaryan co-wrote the script with Peter A. Couture.

The film, based on the novel of the same name by James Robert Fuller, is currently filming in Savannah, Georgia. “When a series of ritualistic murders begins targeting a close-knit group of golfers, retired OSI investigator Ron Lee (McCallany) is forced to confront a brilliant and sneering killer while his partner Tim Pond (Steiner) fights to keep him from solving it,” the story summary reads.

The project is produced by Peter A. Couture, April Aguilera and Larry Mortorff, with casting by Jonathan Clay Harris, who also serves as executive producer.

The ensemble cast also includes Pat Healy, D.W. Moffett, Xander Berkeley, Kat Kaelin, Mary Pumper, Nadia Gray and Sarah Yeagin.

McCallany is known for his role as FBI agent Bill Tench in David Fincher's Netflix series. Mindhunterwhich became a hit series for the streamer. He was most recently seen starring alongside Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White in the A24 series. Iron clawdepicting wrestling patriarch Fritz von Erich.
