This morning Let's put in a word: they are talking about the case of the Frenchman Alexandre Texier St. Louis.
Essentially, the forward is no longer playing for the Blues and is considering doing what David Kampf did: breaking his contract and Just sign up somewhere else.
I wonder how much of a fad this will become for players whose contracts are too onerous ($2.1 million for Texier) to be easily traded.
Elliott Friedman suggested that the Canadiens would be interested in the Blues player.
What you need to know is that an informant like him doesn't say only for the sake of conversation. Often when he says something, it's because there's something to it.
Does this mean Texier will automatically move to Montreal? Not necessarily. But this means that something is happening in the Frenchman’s case… and that the Hubs are watching this with interest.
And so the Blues announced this morning that in order to make room for Jake Nabors on the 23-man roster, Texier has been removed from the 23-man roster.

It is now considered non-roster player With the personnel move, Texier truly seems to have come full circle in the Blues organization.
After all, if he had been wounded, he would have been placed on the wounded list. Unlisted status is not a treatment usually given to stars, let's face it.
I don't know how the next few days will go, but I really wouldn't be surprised if Texier is released from his contract in the very near future.
And if that's the case, Kent Hughes will undoubtedly call his agent.
