Corriere dello Sport confirms that Zirkzee would be happy to work under Gasperini at the Stadio Olimpico, but according to the Rome newspaper, the striker's agent has quite high demands in terms of commission.

Therefore, the safest route for the Giallorossi would be to submit a loan offer with a buyout obligation tied to Champions League qualification.
Proceeds from the 2026-27 Champions League will fund Zirkzee's permanent move next year, provided the Giallorossi qualify for Europe's elite competition.
