November 12, 1996 Apple has announced plans to open a network of Internet cafes. The idea was canned at the end of 1997.

While those same people may gravitate toward the iPhone because it's the most prestigious, I think they'd be more interested in it matching their outfits rather than because it's the most powerful phone.

As for the apps still using Rosetta, I can tell you one thing – Toast 20 from Roxio. This is a DVD creation software that was released in 2021/2022 (or maybe even earlier) and was last updated in 2023. In parentheses, I'm probably the only user in the world.
