The IGN Deals team has over 30 years of deal-finding experience. We started finding deals long before it became our job and will continue to do so long after we retire. The art of saving money can be learned by anyone, but only a select few have the dedication and drive to truly master it.
Luckily, our team of experts will do most of the work. Finding great deals for you during Black Friday this year's season. We'll use a variety of techniques to find the best deals every day and help you get discounts on the things you really want to buy this holiday season.
Eric began his professional deal sourcing career at Techbargains back in 2007 and subsequently held additional leadership positions at LogicBuy and ExtremeTech. In 2016, he assumed his current position as IGN Business Manager, responsible for sourcing the best deals in gaming and technology on a daily basis. When Eric isn't looking for deals for other people at work, he's looking for deals for himself in his free time. The best deal he found recently was a LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 751982 set for about $200 (regularly $800) due to a target price error. When he's not collecting frimogams in Genshin Impact or trying to lose weight with Beat Saber, Eric takes to the Pacific Ocean by kayak, catching salmon and halibut.
Robert worked at IGN for almost seven years, first starting his career writing about broadband and mobile contracts in the UK. He has since become IGN's resident gaming deal expert and has lent his deal-hunting skills to several IGN sister sites such as Eurogamer, RockPaperShotgun, VG247, PCMag and Mashable. In addition to his knack for closing gaming deals, he loves to deep dive in search of elusive discounts on gaming cards like Pokémon or Magic, 4K UHD Blu-rays, comics, and more. When he's not writing for IGN, you'll find him playing Darkest Dungeon on his Steam Deck with a hot cup of tea. Your health!
Chris has been writing professionally for 15 years. It all started when he bought an iPod Touch, started looking for games, and thought, “I could review these things.” He soon landed a job as a mobile games editor and then began covering console and PC games for sites like The Cheat Sheet and GameSpot. He always had an eye for good deals, so joining IGN as a business editor was an easy choice. He's covered Black Friday and Cyber Monday for seven years and counting, digging up all the best deals available at any given moment.

Blythe is the newest member of the IGN Deals team. After two years at a digital marketing agency, she joined IGN in 2024 to support overall coverage strategy while working on major trade events. She mainly does streaming coverage because she suffers from extreme FOMO every time she misses a discount. On Black Friday, she'll be especially keeping an eye on Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu and Crunchyroll. As a collector, Blythe is also always looking for deals on physical media from major retailers like Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Her main interests are books, DVDs, and TCGs such as Magic: The Gathering.
Lindsey Sulzerdirector of audience development. and commerce
Lindsay (she/her) has over 10 years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, and audience development. She's held many roles throughout her career, but most recently she oversaw the affiliate business at IGN, ensuring IGN's audience gets the best shopping recommendations for all the cool tech, gadgets, toys and games every day. She will be very active during Black Friday, supporting the team in every way possible to optimize and promote IGN's expert offerings during the crazy Black Friday week. On a personal level, Lindsay grew up charity shopping with her mom, so bargain hunting is in her blood. (She even had a fashion blog at one point.) However, she's a big fan of resale sites like Depop and eBay.
