LG is undoubtedly the manufacturer of some best OLED TVsbut this Also means they usually sell for a good price. If you've had your eye on one of the 2025 models but have been waiting for a decent discount, the Korean electronics giant has just has revealed its official Black Friday offers – and it includes several offerings that are sure to pique the interest of any aspiring film fan.
From today (20 November) until Wednesday 3 December, you can save up to AU$3,500 on an LG OLED TV when it comes with a compatible soundbar. Plus, if you don't need a soundbar, you can still save up to AU$2,500 on top-rated OLED and QNED TVs for a limited time.
You can find a full list of Black Friday discounts and package deals on the website Australian LG websitebut I've highlighted a few highlights below.
LG Australia is a preferred partner of TechRadar (What does it mean?)
The biggest savings of AU$2,500 are available on both the 77-inch and 83-inch variants of the LG G5, while the 65-inch variant comes with a starting saving of AU$1,600. Interestingly, the 55-inch screen was not discounted.
The G5 is eligible for the AU$1,000 soundbar bundle discount we mentioned above, with compatible soundbar models being LG S95TR and LG SG10TY.
Of the two, I chose the S95TR because it includes rear speakers that provide more authentic Dolby Atmos surround sound at home. If you add the 77-inch LG G5 and the S95TR Dolby Atmos soundbar to your cart, the total comes to AU$5,897 – a total saving of AU$3,801 based on the original list prices of both items.
The LG C5 gets an introductory discount of up to AU$2,138 on screen sizes from 55 to 83 inches (the 77-inch screen gets the biggest overall discount), as well as several different included soundbar options compared to the G5.
These soundbars include the LG SC9S and S80TR, both of which support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio codecs. It's also worth noting that adding a soundbar to the C5 model only saves you AU$500, compared to the AU$1000 saving applied to the G series.
With the 65-inch C5 I selected added to my cart, as well as the slightly more expensive SC9S soundbar, the total cost of the package comes to AU$3,263.01. When purchased separately and at full price, the same package would cost AU$5,396, giving you a total saving of AU$2,132.99.
The 86-inch option I chose gets the biggest introductory discount of AU$1,510.99, while the already available 55-inch size is reduced by AU$616 to AU$1,183.
Soundbar options for this kit that will net you AU$300 in savings include the same S80TR you can get with the C5 OLED, or the more economical S70TY. Assuming you need the rear speakers from the S80TR, the total cost is AU$3,481.01, for a cumulative saving of AU$2,113.99.
As mentioned, there are multiple size options available for each series. You'll need to add one of the pre-selected soundbars to the qualifying series to save on the package (you can't bundle the most affordable soundbar with the most expensive G5 OLED, for example).
Plus if you MyLG member – and you can join for free – You can receive a AU$50 voucher towards any purchase over AU$350.
