Singer D4vd now considered a suspect in the death of a missing 15-year-old girl whose body was found In the trunk of his Tesla, which was confiscated in September, according to a Los Angeles Police Department source.
D4vd, 20, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has not been charged and no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation.
An LAPD source with direct knowledge of the investigation. told NBC Los Angeles that Burke was not cooperating.
The missing teen, named Celeste Rivas Hernandez, likely died in the spring, and whoever killed her was likely helped to dismember and dispose of her body, the source added.

Rivas' body was found “severely decomposed” in September, stuffed into a bag in the trunk of a Tesla registered to Burke in Hempstead, Texas.

Los Angeles police are currently investigating the incident as a homicide.
The cause and manner of Rivas' death were still “pending” Tuesday, indicating the decision was pending further investigation, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner said. told NBC News.

Police searched the Los Angeles-area home where Burke's Tesla was abandoned in September.
Authorities were looking for several items, including digital devices, that might have surveillance footage or could link Rivas to the location.
Los Angeles police said several pieces of evidence were recovered from the home and will be analyzed. Authorities also said investigators are following leads.
The Robbery-Homicide Unit is “carefully reviewing every aspect of this case to uncover the truth and seek justice for Celeste Rivas Hernandez and her family,” they said Sept. 29.
Burke's Tesla was initially impounded after it sat on a Hollywood Hills street for more than 72 hours. Neighbour told CBS News that Tesla had been abandoned for several weeks.
“It just smelled like sewage,” a Hollywood resident told the publication. “I think the community realized something was wrong and reported that the car had been abandoned.”
At the time of the discovery of the body, Burke was on an international tour of North America. He has since canceled the remaining dates of his US tour amid the investigation.
