Meeting the undead in diplomacy is not an option
Door 407 has released a major update for Diplomacy is not an optionproviding a complete overhaul of the Undead faction. The update strengthens the faction's identity and expands the range of strategic choices available in the game's medieval fantasy world, full of large-scale survival and real-time strategy.
Players continue to take on the role of an overworked minor lord who must endure massive attacks, sometimes facing twenty-five thousand attackers at once. The updated Undead faction adds new ways to manage resources, command armies and formulate long-term plans. The update can be explored through four new challenges built around new mechanics.
There is also a dedicated Undead research tree, which now includes sixty-four technologies. This gives players more room to specialize in their approach. The army is expanding with new units such as the Hunting Demon, Flesh Collector, Thunder Amalgam and two new dragons inspired by progressive and hard rock.
Changes in the economy introduce death metal, a new resource used in units and buildings. The developers have also balanced costs, and sharing resources helps smooth out the shortage. New structures such as the Death Metal Mine, Dealer Worm, Undead Towers, and Massive Undead Towers expand building options. The team also rebuilt the base expansion system. You can now desecrate monuments without a special unit and place them freely. This makes it easier for the undead to spread across the map and strengthen their presence.
Overall, the update gives the Undead faction a clearer identity and smoother progression, offering players a more fun way to defend their kingdom and shape their strategy. So, dive into Diplomacy Is Not an Option and take on new challenges now.
