Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), a bona fide member of the “Squad,” misfired badly in her attempt to attack EPA chief Lee Zeldin for accepting money from one “Jeffrey Epstein”—a New York doctor, not a convicted billionaire sex offender, who committed suicide.
Crockett alleged that Zeldin received money from Jeffrey Epstein during the debate on a resolution to censure Virgin Islands Delegate Stacey Plaskett (D) for her past relationship with Epstein.

According to the latest Federal Election Commission (FEC) reports, Zeldin did receive a campaign donation from Jeffrey Epstein, but not the Epstein Crockett he was referring to.
“Yes, Crockett, a doctor named Dr. Jeffrey Epstein (who looks nothing like the other Jeffrey Epstein) donated to a previous campaign of mine,” Zeldin responded to X.
“NO RELATIONSHIP, YOU ARE A GENIUS!” he added.

Screenshots from the FIC proved Zeldin's innocence in relation to Epstein.
Like Breitbart news reported This week, newly released documents revealed that Epstein sent text messages to Plaskett praising her for questioning former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen:
Thousands pages Emails, text messages and other documents from Epstein's estate were released last Wednesday by the House Oversight Committee, revealing a shocking connection between the convicted predator and Delegate Stacey Plaskett (D) of the U.S. Virgin Islands as she prepared to question Michael Cohenformer Trump lawyer turned critic.
Epstein appeared to be watching Congress. hearing in real time, texting Plaskett that she looked “gorgeous” and telling her that Cohen was referring to former Trump aide Rona Graff when he testified against his former boss.
Given Plaskett's friendly responses, the texts showed that they had a cordial friendship, despite the fact that he was a convicted sex offender. On Tuesday, the House Freedom Caucus voted to strip Plaskett of her role in the House Democratic Caucus. All Democrats voted against censure, with three Republicans vote no and three more voters are present. It failed by a vote of 209–214.
The censure was also aimed at Plaskett's removal from the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, which oversees the FBI and CIA and “regularly monitors receives classified briefings on national security issues,” according to Fox News.
“The House has a responsibility and obligation to protect the integrity of this institution. And what we are learning from the documents released by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein is nothing short of alarming,” said Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.), who issued the censure.
““These documents show that Delegate Stacey Plaskett, a sitting member of Congress, coordinated her questioning during a formal Oversight hearing with a convicted sex offender, a man whose crimes against minors have shocked the nation,” he added.
Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) parried that the censure was “another pathetic attempt to distract and divert attention from the fact that the President's name has already appeared more than a thousand times in a small portion of the material published about Epstein,” adding that Epstein was a “voter” of Plaskett due to his primary residence in the Virgin Islands.
“Even without going to an ethics committee, much less a court, they want to bring some kind of charges against her based on a newspaper article that she did something legal, no matter how reckless. She answered a phone call from one of her constituents,” Raskin said.
“Where is the ethical violation? Where is the violation of the law? Are you saying that anyone on your side who spoke on the phone with Jeffrey Epstein should be convicted?” he added.
