ARK Raiders appeared in the community last week, but this week it did not make it into the top three games of The Bomb 12. Yes, it is the 12 games that really matter to people who actually play games. The Outer Worlds 2 topped the chart in this round. Oh, and you may notice something else that looks out of place in the top 3. We'll come back to this soon.
We haven't been working on Bomb 12 that long, but we've seen it happen before. By “it” I mean a game that doesn't seem to dominate the conversation, but everyone is quietly playing anyway. Personally, these are my favorite Bomb 12 champions. The Outer Worlds 2 is simply a strong video game. This is a modern version of a retro style RPG. Obsidian is known for its solid character customization options, funny dialogue, and engaging writing, all of which you get here.
Send released its latest and penultimate entry this week, and that episodic structure seemed to really work for the choose-your-own-adventure style of adventure. According to Steam charts, the superhero game was gaining more concurrent players each week – and players kept coming back with each new release. Now that the entire first season (first game?) is out, Dispatch should also pay attention to the holdouts who just want to eat it all up at once.
Oh, and then The Bomb 12 community gave us Chibi-Robo. Kids love to have fun and that's what I'm here for. This GameCube classic is available on Switch and Switch 2 via the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack, and the community obviously wanted to include it in gaming's most prestigious list of popular titles. Who can blame them?
Lumins arise this is another new game on the chart. It's ranked 10th and could climb even higher next week when people have more time to spend with it. I played a musical trip puzzle game (in virtual reality) and I liked it. This is despite the fact that they are not completely in sync with the different strategies. It does Tetris effect this is very good and I will always show up on Enhance when they do this trick.
