Fight an interdimensional virus in HEALER
ROTU Entertainment has announced that HEALER will be coming to Meta Quest 3 and 3S on December 11th. The game combines fast-paced action, light-hearted chaos, and a playful sense of cosmic evil, challenging players to confront the Entropy Virus, an interdimensional threat bent on stripping the universe of its color and personality. Instead of impending destruction, the virus creates something more tedious than dangerous, leaving your living room looking like it's been infected with a very boring nuisance.
Powered by Unreal Engine 5, HEALER transforms everyday environments into evolving cosmic landscapes. Each playthrough changes the layout of your environment, turning walls, floors and furniture into parts of an unpredictable space. The game focuses on fast-paced engagement and visual flair, offering a mix of bubble popping, puzzle solving and creature saving that is designed to keep players moving. The game's action is built through the role of the Healer, a figure determined to preserve creativity in countless realities.
In this situation, the entropy virus spreads across the worlds and destroys all living things. The Healer comes into play with the ability to remake the environment and rework the rules of physics. And all this while maintaining a healthy disregard for caution. The process becomes a mixture of ingenuity and instinct that encourages energetic movement and a sense of playful discovery.
The studio describes HEALER as a game that puts fun at the forefront. “Most mixed reality games force you to learn how to play before you start having fun.” says Jason Parks, CEO of ROTU Entertainment. “We turned it around. THE HEALER throws you straight into chaos. It's easy to start, hard to quit, and too beautiful for what you have to go through.”
