Charged with strangulation and punching sister in the eye

TMZ Sport received more information about Patrick BeverlyArrest – A former NBA player is accused of punching his sister in the eye and choking her for 30 seconds in a Texas home.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Beverly's sister told officials she left the house in the middle of the night without permission to see her boyfriend. Aiden Hilderbrandin a nearby park, November 14.
When she returned home, her mother Lisawoke up… and told her to go into her room. Lisa then told her daughter to call Hilderbrand and ask him to pick her up.
Upon arrival, Hilderbrand was ordered inside… and Lisa called Beverly to come to the residence.
Beverly then apparently scolded his sister before “grabbing her by the neck with both hands and lifting her off the ground, forcing her feet off the floor.”
His sister claims that because he grabbed her neck, she felt pain as if she was losing oxygen and couldn't breathe… this lasted for 20 to 30 seconds.
The sister said Beverly pulled her out of the bedroom by the neck and slammed her body against the walls of an open room in the house.
She claims Beverly then laid her down on the couch, stood on top of her and struck her “approximately once in the left eye with a closed fist.”
The sister added that Beverly commented that “he would be the family relative who would kill her.”
The documents say Hilderbrand was ordered to leave the house… and Beverly followed him.
When Beverly returned, her sister claims her boyfriend called the police for help.
The sister had marks on her neck and had petechiae in the whites of her eyes, officials said.
Beverly was taken into custody and charged with assault at the Fort Bend County Jail.
He later took to social media… and stated: “Please don't believe everything you see on the internet. Hope all is well Luv❤️🙏🏾”
