In 2019, Popsugar launched its first beauty awards called “Power Your Pretty” Awards as a one-of-a-kind celebration of the best new beauty releases of the year, hand-picked by our vetted team of editors with one person in mind: you. Six years later, the goal remains the same: to provide our audience with the best of the best products that make them feel really, really good.
Winners will be selected by our vetted team of beauty editors as well as industry professionals. These journalists and subject matter experts will sift through hundreds of contenders to unveil more than 50 of the best new products in skincare, haircare, makeup, fragrance and nails.

How to submit products for review
Brands can fill out an application form link here or embedded below to submit your product for consideration by a panel of judges (PS team members). For the 2025 PS Beauty Awards, we will be accepting submissions from Monday, November 17th at 9:00 am EST until Monday, December 1st at 8:00 pm EST.
There are a few things to remember before you apply:
- Please complete one application form per product. If you are submitting multiple applications, complete one form for each application and pay a separate fee for each product. There is no need to submit separate forms for multiple shades of the same product.
- We require a $100 entry fee for each product submission, which can be paid through Stripe. link here. You will need to provide your Stripe Payment Confirmation ID on the submission form. The fee is non-refundable.
- You can submit any new product released between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. There are no exceptions.
- Products previously featured (but not selected) for PS Wellness Award 2025 will automatically be considered for the Beauty Awards. There is no need to resubmit items for review.
- Limited edition products will not be considered.
- Late applications will not be accepted.
- Once we have reviewed all submissions, we will contact you about samples of any products our judges are considering that we have not previously had the opportunity to test.

After reviewing all submissions, we will contact you about samples of any products our team is considering but have not previously had the opportunity to test.
We will not be able to test products received after the sample deadline. From there, our editors will begin testing (and retesting) to find the best. Only winning products will be notified before publication.
