Find your way out to Storebound
Linked to the store has officially hit digital shelves, and independent studio Embers has released the co-op horror title in Early Access on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. The arrival of this eerie adventure marks the beginning of a growing experience that combines teamwork, tension and an ever-changing sense of danger inside a huge, cursed megastore.
Players enter a seemingly ordinary retail giant and discover that every aisle hides strange puzzles, disturbing secrets, and employees whose idea of ​​help is anything but helpful. Storebound can be explored alone or with friends, encouraging cooperation as you navigate dark corridors, discover new paths, and search for the elusive exit before the store's inhabitants get closer.
The Early Access version contains Episodes 1 and 2, forming the first chapter of a larger story that Ambers plans to expand on through regular updates. Future expansions will introduce new characters, mechanics, and increasing threats, designed to push players deeper into the mystery of the megastore. This evolving structure gives Storebound room to grow, allowing early players to watch the narrative unfold bit by bit.
The launch follows an impressive showing during the recent Steam Next Fest, where the Storebound demo attracted over 120,000 players and became one of the most popular events at the event.
