Despite the brief loss of Jordan Love to a shoulder injury, Green Bay Packers managed to bounce back and bring the New York Giants their fifth defeat in a row.
Backup quarterback Malik Willis stepped in and scored a touchdown in the first quarter during Love's brief absence.
The Giants entered the game dealing with their own quarterback issues as rookie starter Jackson Dart was ruled out due to concussion. Before Sunday's game, ESPN reported that some members of the Giants organization urged Dart to “be more cautious about when and how often he scrambles when he returns to the field.”

Dart gave the Giants' offense a boost by replacing veteran signal-caller Russell Wilson. But Dart took the hit and was forced into the blue medical tent to be assessed for a concussion following New York's 24-20 loss to the Chicago Bears last week.
Dart visited the tent a few times in his rookie season, and Jacobs hopes the young quarterback can avoid that in the future by being more careful on the football field.

“You need to come down, man. You have to learn how to slide, you have to learn how to get out of bounds when you need to,” Jacobs. told TMZ Sports. “It’s not a tough guy sport where you have to run around, run into people, try to move people in a truck.”

Jacobs added: “Just getting beat up like that all game long is never going to do him any good. Never good for our team!”
