Protect your home with Well Keeper
Corporate Potato has announced that its upcoming Bullet Hell roguelike game, Well Keeper, will be coming to Steam and Steam Deck in the first quarter of 2026. “Keeper of the Well” centers on a lightning-charged mouse protecting its home deep inside a worn leather shoe at the bottom of a well. Each stage moves the action forward as you move around, flapping your arms to control direction and height. The movement style creates a clear rhythm, and the automatic lightning-fast attacks create constant pressure as enemies rush in. Across thirty waves, divided into three levels, each encounter has its own pattern, pace and challenge, keeping the action tense and unpredictable from start to finish.
Enemies drop coins, which you use to upgrade a wide range of properties and unlock special abilities known as Wishes. With options including new weapons, mods, economic effects, and stat upgrades, each run provides a sense of discovery while gradually increasing your power. Improvements form a clear development cycle, since collected Desires are retained after defeat. This allows players to start each new attempt with more potential.
Each level culminates in a boss fight designed to push players beyond the rhythm of regular waves. Multi-phase patterns and layered attacks require focus and careful movements, giving these fights significant weight in the overall structure.
Flap-based movement remains central throughout, offering a simple starting point that supports expressive control once mastered.
