Welcome to Year 11 week!
The NFL's showdown will take place on Sunday. The first big play came early when the Buccaneers traveled to Buffalo for a huge matchup with the Bills, and the game truly lived up to the hype. The Bills won 44-32. SCORIGAMI – thanks in large part to Josh Allen's superhuman performance.
- The Bills QB threw for three touchdowns and ran for three touchdowns.
- Although the Bills won by 12 points, there were nine lead changes, the second-most in a game in NFL history.
- Allen now has 75 career rushing touchdowns, tied with Cam Newton for the most by a QB in NFL history.
In another early contest, the Jaguars handed Jim Harbaugh the worst loss of his NFL career, defeating the Chargers 35-6.
The Denver Broncos dealt a blow to the Chiefs' chances at a division title this afternoon, eliminating Kansas City 22-19. The biggest difference between the two teams is that the Broncos tied this year while the Chiefs did not.
- The Broncos are 7-2 in close games, the most wins of any NFL team this year.
- The Chiefs are 0-5 in one-score games, the worst record in the league. It's also surprising considering Kansas City went 12-0 in one-score games last year.
The Los Angeles Rams also picked up a big win, defeating the Seattle Seahawks 21-19. In Sunday night's game, the Eagles capped off a day of playoffs with a dominant 16-9 win over the Lions.
