The Beats Solo Buds Just Dropped to $39 at Walmart

Beats Solo Buds are a popular choice in the wireless earbuds game, and they're now $39 (originally $69) at Walmart, which is even cheaper than Amazon's lowest price of $49.95. As a budget alternative to Apple's other in-ear headphones, they're a top contender for people on a budget who still want high-quality audio.

Compared to more expensive Beats Studio Buds and Studio Buds+, they're pretty no-frills, as CNET notes. They don't have a charging case, active noise cancellation (passive noise isolation only) or other extra features, but that's to be expected for a fraction of the price. However, they deliver balanced sound with vibrant highs and deep bass, which is further enhanced when playing Dolby Atmos tracks. Battery life is up to 18 hours, and thanks to fast charging via USB-C, five minutes of charging will give you about an hour of playback.

Since the case does not have an internal battery, it is more compact and pairing is hassle-free for both iOS and Android users. While the headphones don't have an official IPX rating, they are touted as being sweat- and water-resistant and come with four sizes of ear tips for a more comfortable fit. While the quality of the microphones doesn't match that of the Studio Buds line, the noise learning algorithms and specially designed microphones are well suited for everyday calls.
