He also released an unsigned statement saying he unexpectedly found his teenage sister alone with an 18-year-old man.

“He was understandably concerned, as any brother would be, concerned about his sister. However, we do not believe what happened next is as described and we look forward to addressing it in court,” the statement said.
Beverly last played in the NBA with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2024. He previously played for the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers and several other teams during his 12-year career.
