Original story
The FBI has identified Keith Michael Lisa, a 51-year-old man originally from California, as a suspect in the attack on U.S. Attorney Alina Hubba's office earlier this week.
The Bureau announced that it was seeking additional information about Lisa in the X-Post from its official representative. Most Wanted“They are also offering a reward for his arrest and capture.
They note that the suspect has ties to New York, New York and Mahwah, New Jersey, the latter of which is located just over 40 minutes from Hubba's office.
Lisa is described as being about 6'3″ tall and weighing between 200 and 230 pounds, and this ad spelled out his actions in a little more detail.
“Keith Michael Lisa is wanted for allegedly entering the Peter Rodino Federal Building in Newark, New Jersey with a bat on November 12, 2025,” the FBI said. Wanted poster read. “After he was refused entry, he threw away the bat and returned.”
“Once inside the building, he proceeded to the U.S. Attorney’s Office where he damaged government property.”
Lisa is wanted for “possession of a dangerous weapon in a federal establishment” and “robbery of federal property,” and authorities are offering a $25,000 reward for his arrest and conviction.

Further details of the attack remain confidential. Even with the FBI's latest information, it remains unclear whether Hubba, appointed to the position by President Donald Trump, was at the location when Lisa attempted to break in with the baseball bat.
There is also no indication of what property was destroyed during the altercation.
Attorney General Pam Bondi made it clear earlier this week that the suspect's alleged intention was to confront Hubba herself. She noted that the U.S. Attorney was feeling well after the attack.
Last night a man tried to confront one of our US Attorneys – a dear friend of mine. @USAttyHabba —

“Fortunately, Alina is okay,” Bondi said. “Any violence or threats of violence against any federal official will not be tolerated. Dot. “Unfortunately, this is becoming a trend as radicals continue to attack law enforcement officers across the country.”
Hubba sent to X shortly after the attack, declaring: “Radical lunatics will not intimidate me for doing my job.”
The FBI warns that Lisa “should be considered dangerous.”
