What are we all playing this weekend?

Saturday is meant for lounging around, half-dressed, half-bathed, in a reclined chair (or better yet, with the bed up), blearily gazing upward at the beautiful array of pixels moving at the command of a pair of thumbs on joysticks. Unfortunately, I'll be moving instead, but at least I can read the comments section below and live vicariously through all you half-dressed, half-washed bastards.

I finally accepted the challenge and emerged from my indie horror hibernation to face the titan who… Hades 2. But the court is already testing me. I downloaded it earlier this week and, as expected, it has stuck its disgusting little tentacles into my brain and is now creating magical illusions, luring me in with its sweet words: “Come on, Callum. It’s only 4am,” he assures me. “You only have a million and one things to do tomorrow. Go again… this time you definitely won’t lose!” It fills my head with lies… seductive, sweet-tongued lies… lies that I definitely I won’t listen for six hours straight on Sunday, despite the fact that I promised to clean up the house…

This weekend I will be a festering quagmire of crumbs and a funnel rising up through a web of maggot glitter. I'll leave it to you to decide if I'm talking about a video game. Also, I might check MROI_32 level dream diver with LSDJAM 2024.

Witnessing suffering this week's reversal made me want to play again Stalker 2which I really liked despite it being broken, but which I haven't gotten back to properly while GSC was fixing it. Plus, judging by the patch notes, about forty thousand new guns have been added. You know, he only has two hands.

Thankfully, the amount of home renovation work has decreased over the past week as we wait for the repaired walls to dry. So I think I'll play a little more of Where the Winds Meet, I've managed to write something. impressions some time ago. That's fine, but damn, all those currencies on display are going to make my head spin. I'd really like to use fake in-game money to pay for renovations to our kitchen.

For my sins I will dive back into World of Walls 2. I wrote two articles about its flaws and disappointments, but the developers have released a patch that is expected to make the first phase of each run a little less painful. I crossed all eight of my robotic spider legs to make the game sing.

Also, in an effort to catch up with the games released this year, I Citizen Sleeping 2, “Consume Me” and Vanderstop everything is installed and ready to go. Whether I can fit this into all my Sunday dog-sitting duties, I just don't know.

Probably more Mount and Blade II: Bannerlording. I'm now at that awkward stage where you're strong enough to start thinking about wanting to rule a fief, but only borderline strong enough to think about taking it yourself. I had the castle for a short time as a result of helping in the war, but that Battan bastard Caladog gave it back to the other side before agreeing to peace. As you might have guessed, my playthrough is essentially a Monty Python sketch.

As I mentioned above, I'll be moving this weekend. Well, technically I'm moving on Monday morning, but I wisely started packing in the previous days. I'm trying to be excited, I'm trying to be happy that my partner and I finally have our own home, but damn, I'm going to miss the launch of Stella Montis's new map at Arc Raiders!

And you, dear reader, what are you playing this weekend?…
