Belkin has announced a recall for him Auto Tracking Stand Pro for iPhone and two versions of the 20,000 mAh BoostCharge USB-C PD power supply because “a manufacturing defect may cause the product's lithium-ion cell components to overheat,” creating a risk of fire and burns for users. While there was only one fire reported in the U.S., there were 15 reports elsewhere, including two minor burns and $37,765 in property damage. according to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
Between August 2020 and August 2025, approximately 83,500 stands and power supplies were sold in the United States through Belkin's online store and retailers including Best Buy, Target, Walmart and Amazon, with another 2,385 sold in Canada. Recalled devices can be identified by model numbers printed on the bottom or sides of the devices. The auto-tracking stand will have model number MMA008, and the power supplies will have model numbers BPB002 or PB0003.
Customers are urged to immediately stop using the recalled devices and contact Belkin for a full refund or Belkin.com store credit for the full purchase amount plus a 20 percent bonus. A The recall application form is available on the Belkin website. and requests a valid receipt and device serial number to “expedite” the return process. Once a claim has been filed, recalled devices must be properly dispose of on site that can safely handle defective lithium-ion batteries and not be thrown into the trash, recycling bins or battery collection boxes found in many retail stores.
