The Saskatchewan Roughriders have officially ruled out a pair of impactful American wide receivers for the 112th Gray Cup.

KeSean Johnson (knee) will not play because he will not be able to practice all week, and Joe Robustelli (head) will not play despite being a limited participant on Thursday.

Johnson suffered a knee injury in the first half of Week 19 against the Toronto Argonauts. The 29-year-old recorded 86 receptions for 1,159 yards with four touchdowns in 16 regular-season games. He was a key target for the defender Trevor Harris to keep the chains moving while leading the CFL with 39 conversions per second.

Robustelli played in 12 games during the 2025 regular season, recording 38 receptions for 544 yards with three touchdowns, highlighted by a 191-yard performance in Week 6 against the Calgary Stampeders.

The 28-year-old started at the edge receiver position in the Western final, where Johnson usually plays. He had three catches for 40 yards before leaving the game in the first half.

Canadian Ajou Ajou, who was a full participant this week despite an ankle injury, did the majority of his reps in that spot this week. In eight games since returning from the NFL, the Brooks, Alta., native has 22 catches for 212 yards.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders (13-6) and Montreal Alouettes (12-8) will meet in the 112th Gray Cup at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg on Sunday, November 16, with kickoff scheduled for 6:00 pm EST.

The Alouettes defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the East final by a score of 19-16, while the Roughriders came back to defeat the BC Lions in the West final by a score of 24-21. The teams split their two regular-season meetings, although Montreal quarterback Davis Alexander missed both games with a hamstring injury.

The weather forecast for Winnipeg calls for a high of two degrees, sun and clouds. The game will be broadcast on TSN, CTV and RDS in Canada, CBS Sports Network in the US and CFL+ worldwide.

This is the fifth time the Gray Cup will be held in Winnipeg and the second time it will be held at Princess Auto Stadium. The stadium's first Gray Cup was held in 2015, when the Edmonton football team defeated the Ottawa Redblacks 26–20 and Michael Reilly was named the game's MVP.
