Cleto Escobedo III’s Cause Of Death Revealed

The cause of death has been established Jimmy Kimmel Live! musical director Cleto Escobedo III after he died at 59 on Tuesday.

According to his death certificate, the talk show host died of cardiogenic shock, which limited his heart's ability to pump enough blood to keep him alive.

Cleto and I have been inseparable since we were nine years old. The fact that we get to work together every day is a dream neither of us could ever imagine. Cherish your friends and please keep Cleto's wife, children and parents in your prayers.”

Escobedo worked on Jimmy Kimmel Live! since its premiere in 2003 and has been the leader of Cleto and the Cletones, the late-night show's own group.
