TikTok announced the launch of Message Board, a new in-app channel that helps creators connect and share content directly with fans and followers.
According to a press release, the message board is a one-to-many broadcast channel that allows creators to post news and updates, share exclusive content and build communities. TikTok said several creators have already started using the new message board feature in beta testing, including publisher Magazine “People” and the Paris Saint-Germain football team.
As an example of how this can be used, artists and musicians on TikTok can use a message board to share new tracks, albums, information about future releases, or even tour dates. Artists could even use it to invite fans to “pre-save” future singles. TikTok has also added an “Add to Music App” feature that allows users to save songs they discover or even new releases through the message board.

To use a message board, authors must go to their mailbox and select “Create a message board.” From there, they can add any users they want. Authors can also click the “Show on Profile” button to toggle the visibility of their message board. After switching the visibility, a large red button should appear at the bottom allowing you to complete the creation of your message board.
As expected, this feature is very similar to Instagram's broadcast channels, another platform for one-to-many creators. which debuted in 2023.
The message board is now available to authors who are 18 years of age or older and have more than 50,000 subscribers worldwide.
