Grave Stakes Playtest Goes Live Next Week

Become the lone survivor in Grave Stakes

Serious bets is gearing up for a big step forward as Wild West Games announces a full week of playtesting on Steam starting November 19th. The studio plans to use this period to improve multiplayer performance and iron out remaining issues before the game goes into Early Access in December. The project takes inspiration from the intense and unpredictable survival spectacles of The Purge, Saw and The Squid, shaping its world around a deadly underground show where every decision weighs and every moment tests the player's nerves.

Set in a hidden arena funded by wealthy thrill seekers, the Grave Stakes pits up to eight competitors against each other in intense scenarios designed to push them to their limits. Winning means receiving a huge monetary reward, while failure brings the competition to an abrupt end in many ways. Each location in the show introduces new challenges and hosts, creating a changing environment that keeps players on their toes. The structure encourages bold moves and risky choices, especially with Double or Nothing bets that invite brave participants to risk their progress for a bigger reward.

Progression remains a central part of the experience. Players earn items such as masks, titles, and additional prizes by building their reputation in the show. Achievements highlight the most ruthless opponents, adding another layer of motivation during each match.

Wild West Games plans to maintain momentum in the coming weeks as open play testing continues into October and leads directly to the Early Access launch this December. Combining tension, competition and unpredictable scenarios, Grave Stakes aims to create a competition of survival that challenges each participant to outwit and outwit their rivals in the pursuit of the grand prize.
