After the big one violation in 2019 and then another one in 2022DoorDash was hacked again on October 25th and is emailing its users to tell them what to do.
The delivery company says no sensitive data such as credit card numbers was stolen, but hackers may have obtained some people's names, phone numbers, addresses and emails. The company warns users to be wary of online phishing attempts via phone or email. No sensitive information was allegedly stolen, but after something like this, it's best to change your password as well.
To prevent this, the company is beefing up its security and hiring a cybersecurity forensics firm to try to figure out how the latest breach happened. The company has also set up a dedicated hotline if anyone wants to call for more information (1-833-918-8030). However, when calling, you must use the reference code B155060.
MobileSyrup has reached out to DoorDash for more information and confirmation of the violation.
