Fields had a tough game against the Cleveland Browns, although the Jets were able to win thanks to two special teams scores. He threw for just 54 yards with a 60.4 quarterback rating.

In that game, Fields was 15 of 26 for 116 yards with a touchdown pass on a broken play to John Metchie III to make it 21-14 in the third quarter. But there were more negatives than positives for the Jets, including losing on a low snap in the fourth quarter while the Jets only lost by a touchdown.

The Patriots were able to rally through the fourth quarter and give the home team what they had hoped for in Mike Vrabel's first year as head coach – a winning season.

There's still work to be done, but nine wins put the Patriots above .500.
