Released last December, Monopoly: Pokemon Edition is one of the most popular editions of the classic board game you can buy today. We're guessing that some Pokemon fans bought it simply to get the adorable miniature figurines of Pikachu, Sprigatito, Fuekoko and Quaxley to use as tokens. But it's also a fun and fast-paced version of Monopoly.
If you are interested in this deal, you should make it soon. Target's deal expires on Friday, and if that happens, the Amazon deal will likely disappear as well.

In Monopoly: Pokemon Edition, instead of purchasing and collecting properties with Monopoly Money, 2-4 players use Poke Balls to search for Pokemon in the spaces around the colorful game board. The goal is to catch eight types of Pokemon or become the last trainer with Pokeballs left in their inventory.
It's no surprise that this edition of Pokemon Monopoly was extremely popular. However, what is somewhat surprising is that it retails for just $25. Licensed editions of Monopoly based on major media franchises typically sell for around $40.
Monopoly: Pokemon Kanto Edition released back in 2014 for $45. It's been out of print for years, but surprisingly, you can get it for $45 from a reseller on Amazon (ships from Amazon). The Kanto Edition includes metal tokens for Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Eevee and Jigglypuff. Monopoly: Pokemon Control Edition available for $58 from a reseller on Walmart's website. Released in 2016, the Johto Edition includes six metal playable figures featuring Pikachu, Totodile, Togepi, Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Pichu.
Another themed version of the classic board game can be found at Ravensburger's. Pokemon Labyrinth. Your goal is to navigate an ever-changing maze and hunt down various Pokémon. Matches last around 30 minutes and you can compete against up to three other players. Steep glow in the dark version Pokemon Labyrinth came out last fall. Both editions retail for $30.
