Ariana, Cynthia and Michelle Yeoh were walking along the carpet when a fan broke through the crowd and attacked Ariana.
Several angles of the clip are circulating on the Internet. In this the author @PopBase you can see a man in a white shirt rushing towards her.
And once he gets to her, you'll see him laughing while Ariana looks scared.
All this happens in a matter of seconds, and the man seems to be jerking her too…
Until Cynthia rushes to push him away from her.
Ariana clearly looks very shaken by the whole encounter.
Although Cynthia rightfully seems very upset that this happened to begin with.
Concerned for Ari, you can see Cynthia contacting her after this happened.
And Cynthia hugs her.
The attack is quite unpleasant to watch.
But at the same time, it is a testament to the depth of friendship that Ari and Cynthia must share.
The attacker was identified on social networks, and his bio says “Most Hated Troll”:
People are also calling out Ariana's security team for not intervening sooner.
This is a flexible move for Cynthia, but she shouldn't use it.
Fans pushing their limits and security not intervening quickly enough is unfortunately nothing new. In fact, just last month Billie Eilish suddenly became involved in the crowd aggressive fan in the front row during her performance in Miami.
So, while safety should always come first, the moral of the story is: fans do better because IT'S not good:
