Take the Northern Line train to ARC Raiders
Embark Studios is launching the first major content update for ARC Raiders, North Line, marking a bold new chapter for the game. The update will go live on November 13th at 10:30am CET and will introduce a major community unlock event, new gameplay additions and quality of life improvements. ARC Raiders costs $39.99 and is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and NVIDIA GeForce NOW. The North Line update is free for all players and follows the game's successful debut, which recently surpassed 700,000 concurrent players.
The new update expands the game's boundaries with Stella Montis, a mysterious region filled with untouched but breathtaking ruins that stand in stark contrast to the detritus of the Rust Belt. These structures hide rare resources, new items, and weapon blueprints for players determined to reclaim the surface. Players must first gain access to this new map by completing Breaking New Ground, the game's first global community event.
Breaking New Ground invites the Raiders to work together to help Speranza restore the tunnels leading to Stella Montis. Participants can contribute resources to earn Merits, a new event currency that unlocks further progression and rewards. Once the community completes the event, a new region will open, starting Phase II: “Staking Our Claims.” It will last until December and will add new challenges and prizes.
The North Line update also introduces two new ARC enemies: the towering Matriarch and the deadly Shredder. As well as the Aphelios rifle, new mines and quest lines on the theme of Stella Montis. Embark Studios has confirmed that the next Cold Snap update will arrive in December, continuing the expansion of ARC Raiders post-launch with new events and gameplay features.
