Control your mech in Super Robot Wars Y
Bandai Namco's long-running series of mechanical crossovers continues to expand. Super Robot Wars Ywhich is due to receive its first major DLC on November 21st. The new content, titled Contract from the Darkness, features a fresh selection of playable units and characters taken from Galaxy Cyclone Braiger, The Big O and Fuuto PI: The Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull. In addition to these additions, players can look forward to new location missions that deepen the game's already rich tactical experience.
Those who purchased the Collector's Edition, Digital Ultimate Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, or the combined DLC Pack 1 and 2 will be able to experience the expansion early, starting on November 19th. Bandai Namco also released a trailer showcasing the new content, giving fans a glimpse of upcoming storylines, battles, and crossovers between the featured series.
In addition to the paid DLC, the game will release a free update for all players on November 17th. This update introduces a new special mission called “Battle Rush” as well as EX-level pilot skills that further enhance the combat customization. It also includes the first DLC mission, A Smile on a Street Corner, ensuring that even players without the expansion will have something new to explore.
Blending classic anime mecha and strategic gameplay, Super Robot Wars Y continues to build on its legacy of bringing together beloved franchises into one massive battlefield.
