Crimson Herring Studios and Zugalu Entertainment announced that Hunter's Moon: A Sovereign Syndicate Adventure will be released on November 24, 2025 for PC via Steam and GOG. This roguelike deck is set in the same richly detailed Victorian steampunk universe as Sovereign Syndicate. It acts as a prequel, delving into the mysteries that shaped the world before the events of the first game.
Players will take control of one of four unique agents, each with their own set of cards, abilities and playstyles. Whether you rely on brute force, sharp strategy or clever alchemy, each choice determines how you will confront the spreading plague that is transforming the natural world into monstrous forms. Exploring corrupted forests and shadowed city streets, each playthrough presents new challenges. This ensures that no two investigations are the same.
The game's deep narrative unfolds over four chapters, combining deck building and story exploration. Missions will take players through new locations, introducing both familiar and never-before-seen characters from the Sovereign Syndicate universe. Players engage in fully turn-based combat that requires careful planning and tactical adaptation against increasingly powerful opponents.
Progress is saved between playthroughs, allowing players to upgrade their characters, upgrade their airship, and refine their strategies. Enchanted tarot cards and relics can be discovered along the way, providing unique modifiers that alter each journey.
