Prince William suddenly appeared on Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday night to show your support for the member. Robert Irwin.
The Prince of Wales, 43, made a surprise appearance during the dance competition show's 20th anniversary episode to offer some words of encouragement to Irvine. Earthshot Prize Ambassador for William's environmental initiative, which aims to find innovative solutions to restore and protect the planet.
Irwin, 21, told his dance partner Witney Carson that he was supposed to be in Brazil for the Earthshot Prize ceremony in Rio de Janeiro on November 5, but had to tell William: “Sorry, I won't be able to make it. I'm still here.”
“We miss you, Robert,” William said in a video message. “While your shiny toes start to twinkle somewhere else, I need you here.”
William told Carson that she needed to “put as much sparkle on him as possible.”
“You guys have a very good chance of winning,” William said during a FaceTime call. “So, good luck on the show.”
“I can’t believe he just said my name,” Carson said.
Irwin went on to say that he dedicated his foxtrot to Leona Lewis. Footprints in the sand to my sister, Bindi27.

“We're doing this dance for Bindi and we're doing this dance for Prince William, so let's not spoil it,” he said.
Bindi danced to the same song during her appearance on season 21 of the series. DVTSwhich she won with professional dancer Derek Hough.
“Part of me was healed that day. So now I hope Robert has the same experience,” Bindi said.
At the end of the number, Bindi joined her brother and Carson on stage and they wrapped their arms around each other's shoulders before kneeling down, reenacting scenes of their childhood with their late father. Steve Irwinwere projected onto the ballroom floor.
Irwin and Carson celebrated by receiving a perfect score of 40 points for dancing to a song in honor of his late father.
Irwin shared the dance on Instagram, writing: “Tonight was healing. This dance was emotional, beautiful and very meaningful. I carry my dad's legacy with me in everything I do and it was an honor to dedicate our foxtrot to him.”
“Thank you @bindisueirwin for inspiring us with your freestyle on this song and thank you @witneycarson for once again choreographing such a beautiful story through dance and for creating a space for me to express raw emotion that I have never shared before,” he continued.
“I am a proud wildlife fighter and will always continue my father's mission. I am so grateful that I can do this in the ballroom.”
