Durham Regional Police say that in late May, Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) officers began investigating a man who allegedly communicated online with a 12-year-old girl.

“The man sent sexually explicit messages to the victim and shared sexually explicit material with her,” police said in a statement Wednesday.
ICE unit members identified the suspect and executed a search warrant at his Bowmanville home on Tuesday, where they arrested him “without incident.”

Police say Comeau operated under the username “sinister.illustrations.” on Tik Tok and Instagram.
