Leakers claim next Pro iPhone will lose two-tone design

Although some may appreciate the two-tone design iPhone 17 pro series, this seems to be one of the most controversial aspects of the new phone.

Informant Instant digital posted on Chinese social media platform Weibo, which claims that Apple is changing the manufacturing process of the rear glass panel to match the aluminum side rails.

On current models, the dark blue color seems fine, but the Cosmic Orange model has two completely different shades of orange, which is confusing for some.

However, while this leaker has shared information accurately in the past, it's not always correct, and we're still relatively far away from the iPhone 18 Pro release, so things could change.

There are other rumors that the rear glass might have some sort of slightly transparent design, but that seems a little more far-fetched to me. Having said that, I also thought there wouldn't be a bright orange pro iPhone, and I was proven wrong last year, so Apple may be making bigger moves now than I'm used to.

I would attribute part of the success belonging iPhone 17 pro not only a new design, but also a bright orange color. It's really taken off in marketing and online, so I expect Apple to take a bold approach again with the next Pro in 2026. I doubt it will turn orange again, but perhaps bright green or yellow could appear in the same way.
