A heartwarming story awaits in the Goodnight universe
Nice Dream Developer and Publisher Heavenly Games announced that Goodnight Universe is now available digitally on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC for $19.99. This is a sequel Before your eyes has already won Best International Game at SXSW in Sydney. Moreover, the Nintendo Switch 2 version will soon receive camera support via an update, with the standard Switch release scheduled for December 18, 2025.
Additionally, physical versions will be released on December 9th for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5, priced at $29.99. Pre-orders are now open from select global retailers. Each edition includes the full game, digital soundtrack, and art book featuring original artwork by the Nice Dream team.
From the BAFTA Award-winning creators of Before Your Eyes, Goodnight Universe tells the story of Isaac. He is a six-month-old baby who discovers mysterious psychic abilities. When Isaac discovers his abilities, he longs for love and acceptance from his family, even as a secret technology corporation tries to exploit him. The game is based on the team's acclaimed camera-as-controller design. This allows players to interact with their eyes and facial expressions on compatible platforms.
The cast features a strong lineup of talent, with Lewis Pullman (Thunderbolts, Top Gun: Maverick) as Isaac, plus Kerry Kenny Silver (Reno 911), Al Madrigal (The Daily Show) and Tessa Espinola (S.W.A.T.) as his family. Supporting roles include Beau Bridges (Homeland), Timothy Simons (VEEP) and Sarah Burns (Barry).
