SonyThe first big State of Play show in Japan was rather low-key, but it ended with big news for FromSoftware fans. Elden Ring Nighttrain The DLC was revealed as The Forsaken Hollows, and the expansion will include a pair of new playable characters and two new bosses to fight.
Forsaken Hollows will release on December 4th, headlined by a pair of new characters. Elden Ring Nightreign characters. Firstly, this is the Scientist described in the new PlayStation Blog Post as “a scientist traveling the Lands Between. Possessing impressive levels of arcane magic, he gains incredible advantages from observing the battlefield.”
As for details about the new bosses, you'll be better off checking the trailer for clues, as there's nothing to be found in the official description. Nothing, that is, other than the fact that you'll have to fight exactly two new bosses, which might be a bit easy for a large DLC pack.
However, the new Shifting Earth, The Great Hollow, offers few additional details. It is “a huge depression in the depths of the Limveld. The depression is strewn with exotic ruins and temples; sacred towers representing the remains of an ancient people; and crystals emanating cursed, life-draining miasma.” Creepy things we'll see a lot more of in less than a month.
