Fantasy Football Week 11 TE preview: Who to start, sit, stream and DFS

The tight end remains an interesting, if not reliable, option. This week, something we never thought we'd ever say seems to be… Cade Otton And Dalton Schultz both must start at the tight end. My early Week 11 projections have them both as top-five tight ends. In our early Consensus rating for week 11they are both in the top eight. What could go wrong?

Schultz may have an easier time answering this question. The last time we were excited about Schultz starting, he posted a 4.4 PPR Fantasy grade. We all felt ashamed and immediately dropped him in the rankings. We should have ignored it. He averaged 16 PPR Fantasy points over the last two games. In fact, Week 8 is the only game in his last five in which he scored fewer than 10 PPR Fantasy points. His match is against Titans It doesn't look very good on paper, but we're starting it anyway.

Otto is a simpler case. WITH Mike Evans And Chris Godwin out, Baker Mayfield he doesn't have much of a choice to throw at Ottone. He scored 12 last week and has 37 in his last five games. His fewest points during that stretch are eight PPR Fantasy points. Like Schultz, Otto is a bad opponent on paper, but you won't find anyone we like better on the waiver wire.

We don't just start a hot play at tight end. We're going back to the icy cold Jake Ferguson goodbye, we're starting Travis Kelsey against a defense that destroyed Ferguson and Brock Bowers in recent weeks and we ignore Kyle Pitts» a disappointing 10th week. The only thing we don't want to start with is TJ Hockensonhe is not in the top 15 in any of our rankings.

Here's everything you need to know about the tight end in Week 11:

Numbers you need to know

  • 22.7 Bengals are giving up 22.7 PPR FPPG to tight ends, the highest in the league. Good luck guessing which one Steelers the end will be this week. We like it Pat Freiermuth most.
  • 10.6 — Travis Kelce has the most points among tight ends against Accounts this year 10.6. I hope Cade Otton tops this.
  • 16.7%Brenton Strange had a target share of 16.7% in the first month of the season. He is eligible to come off injured reserve and could play an even bigger role if Brian Thomas and Travis Hunter none.
  • 84George Kittle he had 84 receiving yards in Week 10. That's more than the last three games combined. He's back.
  • 20.4 — Travis Kelce scored 20.4 PPR Fantasy points the last time he faced Broncos.
  • 21.9% — Harold Fannin had a disappointing Week 10, but his target share was still 21.9%. We're going back to him.
  • 51.2%David Njoku barely ran half the routes in Browns. He's the clear TE2 in Cleveland.
  • 11.9 — WITH Jackson Dart took on the role of starter, Theo Johnson averages 11.9 PPR FPPG, good enough for a TE10 in this stretch.
