Pre-order DLC for DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS
KOEI TECMO America And Omega Force revealed plans for the first major DLC for their tactical action game DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS. The upcoming expansion, titled Visions of Four Heroes, will release on January 22, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The DLC introduces new storylines, weapons, and gameplay updates that further expand the chaos of the Three Kingdoms.
Visions of Four Heroes explores new narratives through four central figures. These are Zhang Jiao, Dong Zhuo, Yuan Shao and Lu Bu. These “What If” scenarios reimagine key moments in their lives, challenging players to take a deeper look at their ambitions and choices. Along the way, new comrades will join the battlefield, including Zhuhe, Guardian of Peace; Diaochang, a returning warrior known for her elegance and skill; and a mysterious officer whose identity is gradually revealed.
The DLC also adds two new weapons: the bow and the rope dart, each introducing new combat mechanics suited to the large-scale battles that characterize the series. The developers have also improved existing weapons by adding new art, skill panels, and higher trait levels. The new Training Ground mode will challenge players to improve their abilities against tough opponents.
Players who pre-order the expansion will receive the exclusive Yellow Turban, a special outfit inspired by the uprising that started the saga.
DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Visions of Four Heroes will release simultaneously on all platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2, on January 22, 2026 and will include Japanese and English voice acting options.
