FIRST ON FOX: Federal Election Commission filings show that progressive Rep. Jasmine CrockettTexas has spent nearly $75,000 this year on luxury hotels, transportation and security in cities across the United States.
Crockett's documents include expenses for luxury hotels and transportation in Martha's Vineyard, Chicago, New York, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, among other major cities, although he represents Texas's 30th Congressional District, which includes Dallas.
Overall, Crockett's documents show that she campaign expenses $25,748.87 from January on luxury hotels and limousine services.
Hotel expenses include $4,175.01 at the Ritz-Carlton and $2,304.79 at The Luxury Collection. Other lodging expenses include $5,326.52 at the West Hollywood Edition in Los Angeles, $1,173.92 at the Times Square Edition in New York, more than $2,000 at the Cosmopolitan and Aria Resort in Las Vegas, $2,703.14 at the Edgartown Inn and $3,160.93 at The Coco, both on Martha's Vineyard.

Plus, Crockett's campaign paid off ChicagoTransportation 4 U Limousine Service $2,728.00 per trip, plus $2,310.30 for DCA Car LLC, a premium car and limousine service provider, and $1,254 for Bay Area Limousine.
In his client gallery On Yelp, Transportation 4 U, which says it specializes in providing “top-of-the-line limos tailored to your needs,” posted a photo of Crockett with the caption, “We were honored to provide transportation services for Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett during her visit to Chicago.” Crockett is shown smiling and casually dressed in a red sweater.
During the same period, Crockett's campaign also spent nearly $50,000 on security expenses, despite repeated calls to defund the police. In 2021, while serving in the Texas House of Representatives, Crockett said, “The Deffund movement is committed to actually bringing about healing and finally investing in our communities to make them safer by addressing the root causes of crime and allowing professionals to do their jobs. state”.
Fox News Digital reached out to Crockett for comment on the spending but had not received a response by press time.

Crockett, one of the most recognizable and outspoken members of the Democratic Party, said that she “I'm seriously weighing it“Possible run for the US Senate against Senator John Cornyn, Republican from Texas.
Talking to Politician in October, Crockett said, “I'm seriously considering it because I'm going to spend a lot of money getting the data.”
Crockett said she has already spoken with a possible campaign leader and that her decision on whether to run will depend on what the data is and who the Republican nominee is.
Cornyn, who is seeking a fifth term, is currently fighting a bitter primary battle against Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Houston Rep. Wesley Hunt.
Crockett has been embroiled in several controversies this year, most notably her attacks on the Republican governor of Texas. Greg Abbotta quadriplegic who uses a wheelchair, “Governor Hot Wheels.”

“You all know we have Governor Hot Wheels there – come on! And the only thing cool about him is that he’s a real badass, honey,” Crockett said.
Crockett later stated that her statements were misinterpreted and that she was not making fun of Abbott's disability.
In a statement published on X, she said: “I wasn't thinking about the governor's condition – I was thinking about the planes, trains and cars he used to transport migrants into communities led by black mayors, deliberately stoking tension and fear among the most vulnerable.”
The statement comes as Crockett has already faced harsh criticism for other recent statements calling for Elon Musk be “taken off” and for sen. Ted CruzR-Texas to be “hit hard on the head.”
In addition to this comment, Crockett recently came to the defense Jay Jones, Virginia's Democratic attorney general-elect, has sparked controversy after messages surfaced in which he privately fantasized about killing a Republican lawmaker.

“And I was very excited to see that he was able to get the win. Not that I know him—I've never met him, I've never talked to him—but because people don't seem to get distracted by distractions,” Crockett told host Roland Martin.
“Look, there were still Democrats who were talking about this,” she continued. “And my deal was to say what you have to say, condemn what he did, but at this point do you trust that this Republican attorney general will stand up when the state legislature decides they need to fight fire with fire and give us more Virginia seats to get into the U.S. House of Representatives because they're trying to balance this power struggle that Trump is having?”
